Axitinib 5mg tablets are an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) that has failed previous therapy. By blocking proteins that promote tumor growth and blood vessel formation, they slow cancer progression. The standard dosage is 5 mg taken twice daily (approximately 12 hours apart).
